Sometimes we become keenly aware that God’s plan is being done in spite of us… & sometimes bad things happen to us in order for this to happen.
We needed the refreshment of having my friends Brian & Amy Miears lead us in worship this morning… So God gave me strep throat to accomplish His plan this week… and I count it all joy that I have been sick for His glory.
Bad things happen, but it’s not all bad! My new favorite song is called “Beautiful Things” by Gungor (we sang it in worship two weeks ago and will be singing it again this coming Sunday)… It has these lines that I think say everything: “You make beautiful things… You make beautiful things out of the dust. You make beautiful things… You make beautiful things out of us.”
