Sufficiently reprimanded…

I’ve got to stop having dinner with the Bench family… somehow I always leave there feeling guilty about my ridiculously poor blogging habits!  This time, however, Joel offered up a suggestion that I may can stick to… if nothing else, I will try to post what songs we are doing every week as I lead worship at Highland Terrace in Greenville, Texas… and if I get a wild hair about me, I may even list songs that I do elsewhere… so… without further ado:

March 8, 2009:

Come Inside (Carpenter)

Majestic (Brewster)

Did You Feel the Mountains Tremble? (M. Smith)

SCRIPTURE READING – JOHN 1:1-14

We Have Seen Your Glory (Carpenter)

Blessed Assurance (Crosby/Knapp/arr. Carpenter)

Hosanna (Fraser)

Thanks, Dean. I would love to post video from our services, but first of all the sound on our video is jacked up bad… we’re working on it… second of all, I could only post the songs that I own (which is often a fairly good number) unless I pay for some different licenses.

We wouldn’t let no stinkin’ Brooke Fraser in our band! She’s too good, ya know?! j/k You’re gonna dig the new song, “Come Inside.” I finished it last Tuesday and we did it at our youth service Wednesday night, then Sunday morning, and evenstill will be playing it several times this coming weekend. By the way… we will be in Magnolia on the evening of April 5th… you should come and bring friends!
