Kimberly, Micah, and I had a great time in the Flaming Gorge area of Utah
as we enjoyed camping (though WE didn’t really camp like everyone else… Micah was a convenient excuse for this) with our good friends and former church family at East Boulder Baptist Church. I was leading (along with Brad Nix) the music for the week and Kimberly was assisting in leading the children’s activities. What a great time of renewal and rejuvenation! The scenery of God’s creation in this area could never get old to me… it reminds me of how small I am and how big God is and yet, how he knows every hair on my head… amazing! At the end of the week (actually Wednesday), we rode back with the Parrish family and enjoyed getting to know them. We then spent a few days just going here and there around our old “stompin’ grounds” and then I led the music at EBBC on Sunday morning before we left to drive up to Estes Park for the GMA Music in the Rockies seminar. Anyway – quite a few pictures are now up from our Utah visit and a few “Pre-GMA” Colorado things as well.
WOW! We arrived at Casey’s house at 11:00 PM with Micah absolutely exhausted from the day’s journey. He did exceptionally well on the plane (even slept through the landing), but did not sleep very well last night… hopefully he will get good rest on our long drive to Utah today. We discovered when we arrived that between all of the people in our group (and our ridiculous amount of baggage and instruments) that we don’t have enough room to take everything… so we will probably be renting a little UHaul trailer… we shall see. Also, the new Harry Potter book just came out so the girls are itching to go to Wal-Mart (we refuse to pay anything more than the most discount of prices!!). More later…
I was just alerted to the fact that my shop was not showing any products… if you were affected by this, I apologize. Things should be up and running again now and the remaining t-shirts should be available for purchase as well.
