These commercials are, in my opinion, some of the most clever ideas for advertising… remember the Jimmy Dean commercials of yore? They pretty much centered around a southern-style breakfast table and focused only on the food itself… whereas these commercials are humorously reminding us that we should eat breakfast even in our rushed lives (and, of course, that Jimmy Dean offers many quick options). Seems to be better advertising to me. The music is also fun and whimsical (though it smacks of Jon Brion’s score to the film Punch-Drunk Love). If you haven’t seen these commercials yet, sit back and enjoy a good smile… if you have seen one, check yourself the next time you watch one… are you grinning?
